These terms describe what WellKept Auto is, what we do and don't do, and what we ask of you when you use the marketplace.
What WellKept Auto is
WellKept Auto is a consumer marketplace that helps car owners get a preliminary read on cosmetic damage and request quotes from independent local repair specialists. We are not the repair provider. We do not perform repairs, set final prices, or guarantee outcomes.
Scope — what we cover
Cosmetic repairs only: scratches, scuffs, paint chips, minor dents (including paintless dent repair candidates), bumper cover scrapes, wheel curb rash, headlight restoration, and leather/interior cosmetic repair and dye.
We do not cover insurance claims, collision repair, structural or frame damage, airbag-related repairs, suspension, drivetrain, electrical, or any mechanical work. If your case looks out of scope, we will say so and route you elsewhere rather than match you.
Preliminary assessments
Our AI assessment is preliminary and informational. It is generated from the photos and details you provide and is intended as a starting point for conversation with a shop. It is not a binding estimate, a diagnosis, a safety inspection, or a substitute for an in-person look. Final scope and price are always set by the repair pro.
Price ranges
Any prices shown before booking are directional ranges, not binding quotes. Actual pricing may change based on in-person inspection, additional damage discovered, paint match complexity, and the shop's standard rates.
Your account and conduct
You agree to provide accurate information, to upload only photos you have rights to share, and to use WellKept Auto for your own vehicle (or one you are authorized to manage). Don't upload photos of people without their consent, and don't use the platform to harass shops or other users.
Shops on the platform
Repair shops listed are independent businesses. We vet basic onboarding details, but we are not their employer or guarantor. Any contract for repair work is between you and the shop. Disputes should first be resolved directly with the shop; we can help facilitate.
Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WellKept Auto disclaims all warranties (express, implied, statutory) regarding the assessment, matches, or any outcomes. We are not liable for repair quality, missed appointments, or shop pricing.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app and dated above.
