Yes. Bumper scratches, scuffs, paint transfer, and small dents are some of the most common cases on the platform. Many can be repaired without replacing the bumper cover. Cases that look like cracked tabs, torn bumpers, or impacts that may have damaged structure behind the cover are out of scope for cosmetic-only repair and we'll let you know if your case looks that way.

Yes. Getting triaged and matched to 3 best-fit shops is free, with no obligation. You only pay if you choose to book a repair with a shop. The rough quotes shops send back are not binding and may be adjusted after they review additional photos or see the vehicle in person.

No. WellKept Auto is for cosmetic, out-of-pocket repairs where you just want the car to look right again. We do not handle insurance claims, collision repair, structural or frame damage, airbag-related repairs, or mechanical work. If your case looks like any of those, we will tell you and point you toward a more appropriate option rather than match you.

Photos are stored on encrypted infrastructure and used to generate your preliminary assessment and to share with the three shops matched to your case when you request quotes. We strip embedded GPS and device metadata (EXIF) in your browser before upload. A format your browser can't read, such as HEIC on a desktop computer, is uploaded as it is. We do not sell your photos, share them with advertisers, or use them to train third-party AI models. Active case photos are kept while the case is in progress; abandoned or closed cases are deleted within 90 days. You can request immediate deletion at any time.

Only the three shops matched to your case. Until you request quotes or book, your case stays inside WellKept Auto. When you do request quotes, matched shops see your photos, vehicle details, damage description, ZIP, and any notes you've added — not your precise address, phone, or email, unless you share those when booking.

We would rather slow down than guess. When confidence is low, when photos are too few or too blurry, or when the damage looks like it may be out of cosmetic scope, the case is flagged and routed to a human reviewer or politely declined with an explanation. You can also ask for a human review at any time by replying to your case email.
